We found one of the two caches and then saw deer.
Lots and lots of deer just standing nearby and staring at us. The deer were so pretty and very quick. Wildlife at it's finest.
It was all the girls could do to hold back these two dogs. It took awhile for the dogs to see the deer; but once they saw them---it was all the girls could hold those dogs. Sarah ended up sliding on the ground and Megan was flying through woods, too. Both giggling all the while. Girls are so much fun.
We gave up on the one cache and came back to the campsite where there was a nice fire in process. Hooray for campfires on cool evenings. Yahoo.
Dustin has to work today so he will come out later and join us. We miss him-Sarah had to crank on the trailer jacks in his absence and Megan had to build the fire. We miss him for more than just that. The girls made apple pies on the campfire and they turned out great. No picture.
Today we will get out the Big Green Egg and put some ribs on for some awesome smoked ribs. With Stubbs Honey and Pecan sauce. Stay tuned, but don't be hungry! Pictures of those ribs will just make you want to go out and get some.
