Around the town today...

and around and around. I think it's safe to say that we have seen a whole bunch of Nashville city limits. I don't think we even made it as far as the actual city limits today. But it was cold here last night unseasonably cold 26 when driver got up at 5:00 a.m. He had the pot of coffee nearly empty by the time that we (Rocky and I) got up. The new pot worked good! This is what our walk looked like this morning. Frosty.

We definately saw some Nashville today. Went to the Gaylord Hotel and the Grand Ole Opry facilities. Toured the Opry Mill which is a ginormous shopping mall. So fun to walk thru and see all the mall walkers and the shoppers and smell the cinnabons. We ate at the Aquarium restaurant where there is a huge big aquarium in the middle of the restaurant. We had the best meal =seafood pasta with shrimp, mushrooms, crawfish and penne pasta. It was so tasty and filling. Didn't get a picture of it, but trust me on this, it was awesome.

The table where we were seated was right up against the aquarium and at certain times of the day a person gets in the aquarium and swims around with all these fish. Sound like fun? NOT to me but it would have been neat to see a swimmer. Oh, well we enjoyed it anyway without a swimmer. So relaxing-it makes me want to purchase an aquarium when we get home.

Then we came back to the camper via the Quilters Attic. Saw some beautiful quilts and I didn't buy any fabric at all. Hard to believe, but there was just too much to choose from and I was just simply overwhelmed with it all. I bought a book instead.

Then, of course no day trip is complete without a wine tasting of some sort. We scoured our brochures and came up with this spot. The lady who owned the place was quite the sales person. She had a bit of cheese, a bit of crackers and a whole lotta wine to sell. We only bought one bottle each. It was such a cute and quaint little shop and had so many unusual little goodies inside. Again, too much for me to consider. What does this say about me?

Tomorrow we are back on the road again and it is supposed to be raining the majority of the day. So the next major decision will be leave way early or later in the morning to avoid some of the traffic. The traffic really is horrid here, and we haven't even been in the main part of Nashville yet.
